The battering ram concept saved my swing. My grass cutting got too cutting edge focused and it started catching up to the hands. The battering ram solved that and returned that effortless swing. The battering ram will get you down into position. The task will get the club to release. This helped so much I had to get back on premium to see if their was more. Thanks Again
Right on Tim!
we are releasing the latest part 7 of the kinetic chain engagement series this Wednesday; and guess what the theme is…BATTERING RAM!!!💪👌👍
Hey Shawn,
Do you think that I can use the image of using a paddle? I feel the sensations using a paddle has similarities with using a battering ram.
Very nice “collect and release” visual there too! Collect the water from forward, then release it behind you…the golf swing would feel like a backwards paddle standing up!
On an uphill shot, should you use a less lofted club?
Hey Flip! Depends! Short irons yes; longer irons from 6 iron to woods no.
Shawn can you please clarify something for me. Are tossing a hammer/horse shoe on the downswing or skipping a stone? The are two very distinctly different motions. Thanks!
It depends on which one you jive with! This is why we have a selection of tasks that have worked with a wide range of golfers! Some love skipping stones and associate well with that and others not.
Aloha from Maui Shawn! Loved this video, it definitely helped me create more lag. I did notice that I had a harder time staying with my target and releasing on either side of my intermediate point when I was focused on letting the butt of the club lead the way in the direction I wanted to start the ball. Any suggestions?
Yes, let it lead you through the arc-blur and into the direction you want to start the ball Vs the intermediate point; see the latest videos we just did on that! 😀👍
Mahalo! 🤙🏽
