Ranny Grady

This has been my worst year, for the past five years. Because of health problems in 2019, I was unable to practice or play golf until late Spring of 2020. I still am unable to practice; I can play 9 , though.
Until I turned 75, I am 80. I often shot in the high seventies.
I have been a premium member for three years, and I just do not swing through to a good finish. I have lost my power.
I do not seem to concentrate more than a few seconds!.
I do believe my game could improve if I would lower my expectations, right?

Hi Ranny! You should do a swing analysis with me so I can see where you are at in your actions and then I will be able to recommend which areas to focus on and which areas to ignore. I hope to see you soon on video! 😀👍

It’s so much easier to focus on a swing fundamental than individual elements. A press and heave into a rhythm-focused swing works really well for me from driver to chip shots. It takes my hands and arms away from the steering wheel, which is where everything can go horribly wrong. My ball striking has improved. Distance has improved. Accuracy has improved and I can shape a draw or a fade at will. Even my putting is improving. I came down from 12 to 7 handicap this year before finding Sean on-line, Next year will be very interesting – 3 or 4 handicap is not beyond a possibility.

I think a big short circuit is if you let the momentum carry through the ball, that is one task you are giving the brain but throwing the club is another. And getting out of the way is also another task. You have to “get out of the way” to “throw the club” so do you get out of the way ? or do you throw the club ? Doing a video on this is a huge game changer IMO. I can see the brain getting in the way on this big time. I can go on and on with other examples but I think you get the point. Another could be “the focus is the target not the ball”. But again now you are giving the brain another task.
Hope your well Shawn!

Loved this video and the one on Levitation. It is clicking, as least on the range. The feel of levitating is very relatable, and the ball is flying, a lot more consistently, and with compression!! Not quite yet w the hybrids, but most irons. Quick question, what is the super 7 iron u refer to that sav uses sometimes? Thanks Shawn
