One of your best, helped me identify one of my main mistakes. Somehow it feels natural to drive the legs but it leads to inconsistency and probably a loss of distance. I have noticed that I hit my shorter irons much purer than the longest clubs, probably because it is harder to drive with the legs on the short irons. So I get 180 to even 190 with the 8 iron but only 200-210 with my 5 iron.
Very good! Nice realization! Feet together drill is great to tame the trail leg; then uphill shots and ball below the feet shots-MAKE SURE YOU SEE HOW I teach those; as this is the very worst thing that is taught in golf!

I just can’t get enough of those slow mo shots 🙂
Awesome feedback Vincent, thank you and more to come!!😀👍
Hi shawn, iv been playing any 18 months and found all the standard instructions, positions, swings paths mind boggling, iv found your videos a few month ago and now all is starting to click, one question I have is, I try to start my back swing by turning the chest a split second before the acu, this is sometimes hard to time especially on the course, I’m concerned if I don’t turn the chest first I will just be lifting my hands up, am I making this to complicated, instead should I just be thinking of moving the arms and being out of the way, apologies for the long question but this has been niggling me for a while
Thanks Phil
Just signed up to eagle last night, great content
Shawn, when I watch the kinetic chain videos and listen to the instruction…”get the ground”, it seems that there is a lot of movement….body up/body down…seems I’d be hitting “chunk shots” all day. What am I missing?
When you are focused on feeling a full release in the direction you want to start the ball, you should get this without thinking about it; it is to say that if you feel the up and down, don’t try to fix that; let it be! But don’t try to MAKE THE UP AND DOWN HAPPEN, it is up to the release to that target!
I hit the occasional block to the right and was struggling to understand why. I think this explains it. I know I have a tendency to lift up so now I know how to correct this on the course. Brilliant.
Right on Bryan!👍😀
