Shawn, if I’m at a point where I’m over hooking everything, do I first look at how much I am closing my club face?
Been experimenting with that as well as my takeaway to see what I can do but I’m having a hard time keeping my shots on the planet. I feel if I don’t close it enough it moves way too far right
Sounds like your path is way too much from the inside; see “how to match backswing to ball direction” and “fade fine tuning” you will probably do a few pull draws when you first start hitting fades; keep at it until you get the fade. Also “shawn’s favourite drill” is awesome to point the shaft into the direction you want to send the ball and gets the backswing into the right direction too! 👍

Depends on the individual Paul; some need to close more on the fade believe it or not! See the “goldie locks series” and with a bit of practice, you will see what works best for you! 👍😀
Hi Shawn, you stay you want to start the ball at the left edge of the IP for a draw in this video, isn’t the right edge for draw and left for fade?
Correct! Sometimes the brain just won’t cooperate with the right and left communication…😝😝

My issue with draws is I am not able to stay right of the IP through the shot. My draw starts from the target and then draws.
GOLDIE LOCKS!! Exaggerate the ball position way back and the action to the right of the target; also see the video I did with Savy on premium called “draw from left side of the range”
Hi Shawn,
i close my driver nearly 40-45°, the shorter the club the less i close them. Sometimes i think i bow my wrists because of the too open face. Sometimes my left hand hurts after a hit.
Should the face be closed the same amount with every club? My wedges are about 20°. My stock shot is a draw.
My lag seems to be best with my driver, but when i close the irons more it feels more difficult to hit the draw and i hook them. I usually hit my clubs a little more to the toe, but constant.
Could you help me?
See “blur of club” and then “unstoppable momentum blur of club” videos first to get a proper reference system. Then you need to confirm that you are delivering well through the ball with “target confirmation series” and “pre-motor cortex series”
