Hello Shawn,
Thanks for all the knowledge!! I am left handed and have huge issues with loading up on my left leg and not being able get back through the swing.
Any advice would help greatly!!

Thanks,

Yes, I play left handed. Frankly, this is an issue that has plagued me for years.

Played 9 holes today and focused on nothing but my braced tilt. I hit all my clubs straighter and farther than I ever have. Looking forward to playing again but need to get my driver swing fixed.

Coming back to this video as I was looking for anti-sway concepts for my wife. This is excellent for fixing that common problem. Recently I started adding the “pre-turn” to my own driver setup and it really works great. Thanks again.

Hey Shawn,
Along with braced tilt, you make a point in another video about Hogan and his address position incorporating the right arm facing out. I believe you make reference to the Ravielli “bandage wrap” drawing in “Five Lessons”. I have searched and searched, but can not locate that video. Could you guide me to that content, it was a revelation and helped me understand another aspect of being able to get into a position to throw.
Much appreciated. Your information is gold and I’m evolving rapidly.

Roger, Shawn. Thank you. Will do!

In the braced tilt video on premium at 3:21 you say about the backswing pre-turn “but at one point you do want to evolve out of that because your turn is now fluid and has no issue and all you want to do now is just allow it to respond to the target.” Please clarify: Do you mean that eventually you no longer want to set up in the braced tilt, or is that line specific to the (partial) backswing pre-turn and you still like the braced tilt as a long-term solution to a proper setup? I’m trying to find my way to the correct braced tilt setup but I think I’m over-cooking it. Probably too much left on the lower body and too far right on the tilt away from the target. After turning and tilting my head to the right about 20% I felt like I had lost touch with the target so maybe I was over-turning and tilting the head there. I also found that I was lining up right of the target and so that exaggerated my problem. Finally, if I am getting better at the elephant walk with the grass whip I am theoretically better centered and curing a sway and so will I be risking messing with the natural/centered position I’m finding with that elephant walk by setting up in a braced tilt?
