why can i not find target focus part 3 ?
Check out target confirmation with Driver in the “off season training part 10”
sorry, it happens sometimes that I will announce a part 3 or 4 and not get to it till later or at all; depends on the case and it does not happen too often though so no worries! 😝😀👍
I tend to top the balls a lot because I moved my head up too early ! I need to send you my swing video for analysis !
See the “2 tee drill” series; this will help a ton in the meantime.
Hi Shawn,
Which videos show where to aim at the ball ? Different clubs would have different aiming POV right ?
Hi Jimmy! Have you seen “alignment reload”?
also see “the goldie locks series” and we will be posting something today that relates to “seeing the alignment” with the “tilted vision” of the head. As far as static alignment of the club face, that is a mirage as the impact position is always more open than at address.
I’m not sure if you understood my question, I’m looking for a video that show using irons, do I aim to hit at the ball, 2 inches in front of the ball, or 2 inches behind the ball for examples and for driver too !
Hi Shawn,
how am I supposed to whip the club while I am still concerned to hit the ground/hurt my back ? With this fear and at high speeds, I do not trust the ‘immovable lowest point’ feedback. Consequently my brain ‘freezes’ at the possibility of a ‘fat’ shot (1-2 inches), I stiffen up, no snap, the club may hit the ground to early, no full finish. Short irons up to about 140 yrds are fine, the whip and the wet paintbrush work beautifully and I am trying to ‘catch’ the pins with lassos – this is a great joy.
Starting with the 8 iron ( + 2 inch shafts/ 6’5″, currently max. carry about 155 yrds) this starts to be an issue, with my 7 iron it is an issue ( the higher club velocity has the potential to hurt my back more … ) and I tend to swing with tension. Interestingly, I am less aware of this fear when I hit a strong draw. At swing speeds of about 50 – 55 % this is not that much of an issue. Can you unravel this ‘trust issue’ for me ?
Best regards
Eckhart
You bet! This means you need to spend more time with Goldie Locks and do it with “extreme and absolute references” before you hit every shot. This is what I have tour pros and good players do to prepare for tournament play as situations where you don’t feel comfortable over the ball will arise and it is because one of the BIG 4 elements is out of position and does mot fit the shot. If there is any doubt at address about contact with the ball, the brain with ABORT THE MISSION OF TARGET and you are left with THE BALL; which is a disaster in the making right there; like getting in your car and having no place to drive to.
Top – thank you very much, Shawn. Your program is without doubt very much worth its price.
Best regards
Eckhart
There are two parts to this series, however, the end of part 2 reference an upcoming driver video that is not showing here. Can you point me to that video, please? If it is available, of course.
It happens sometimes I will say something at the end of a video where I did not mean to;
I will investigate…
