Shawn, This video is so important ! It not only shows the lead hand motion , it shows when & where it occurs post impact along with the way the whole left arm moves on the follow through and most importantly how the body then is pulled through up onto my left foot. At the 10:30 section in the video is where the light bulb lite up. Wow! Is this the sequence you prescribe?

Help Shawn!! My left hand just after impact slides into my palm. I just watched the video and on practice swings my left hand Still wants to slide! I’ve tried letting the natural rotation take over with left hand flat at impact and roll but it wants to slip! Should I just duct tape my hands on the grip? Lol!

Took a lesson last year and was repeatedly told that the left arm ( for right golfer) is not a “puller” and should start rotation just below shoulder. Wow, intuitively Shawns concepts seem too logical and don’t cause soreness or strain… Just feels odd to let it rip thru. Wonder why golf instruction spends so much time talking about moving and setting wrist positions at top and turning thru with “axis” tilt to hold club face square thru impact…..???
Hey Jack! They are simply looking at slow motion video of pga tour pros and then trying to get us all to copy those moves amd positions;
The sick part is that they are focused on something else that creates those positions and not the positions themselves…we are already Pinnochio without the strings!

Shawn am confused about the release with the lead arm. Does it happen after the ball has been hit or as the ball is being struck? Thanks. Chuck
The best thing to do is look at the video called “predict contact”
You ate letting the club release you into the picture; it is not your job to make those positions of release happen. Shawn
I am having a lot of trouble with your videos as they stop after about 2-3 minutes in fact this one stopped after 30 seconds so i have cancelled my subscription
