Hi Shawn, I don’t think I’ve come across any of your videos that speak to swing weight. Can you please share your thoughts on this? From what I can tell based on your methods, i would want a decent swing weight that would enable me to feel the clubhead…when i think of tennis ball on string, or hammer for example….as opposed to an club/iron that just feels like a stick, bc of inadequate swing weight.
Pretty much Adam! Too heavy is hard to whip and too light is hard to feel; somewhere in the beautiful goldie locks middle!
Would you recommend Club Champion or a local Wisdom In Golf Expert at a club that can only sell one brand. I think I just got my answer by asking the question.
Really hard to beat Club Champion; you just want to stay with your simple tasks and stay with the effortless, heavy, unstoppable momentum in a very specific direction on every swing and you will get a very consistent fitting. Stay away from body part thinking during your fittings!
Great that we can see this fitting 👍 Interesting stuff 🤔 What if Matt starts hitting later more that medium draw, that he was talking and spin get even more lower?
Absolutely, generally speaking a draw will always have less backspin than a fade. I actually found it easier to hit the ball straighter/with a slight draw with the Srixon iron that Ian recommended, so I’m sure that was a factor in reducing the spin numbers in addition to the different clubhead and shaft.

Similar question. When the swing gets more consistent (WIG winter sessions) what is the cost to fit clubs?
Hi Jeremy,
TXG charges $100 for a one hour fitting. That would cover either a driver fitting or an iron set fitting. Shawn and I have been to a lot of fitting facilities over the years and we were both very impressed.
-Matt
Thanks Matt. I checked their web site. $400 for all clubs incl putter. Very practical and knowledgable session you aired. J.
Shawn what is the cost of an average fitting for this outfit? And is there a place in the States that does this? Thanks
Hi Ken! Jeremy!
They charge 100.00 flat! Amazing what you get for it!
Where are you in the US? I can ask Ian!
Shawn
Shawn that is an awesome deal.. We are located in The Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Shawn and Ian, Thanks for the time and info: That you have provided me.
