Shawn on your driver swings it appears your heads start off ahead of the golf ball, coaches suggest the hands be kept in the center or slightly behind. I also notice the pro’s hands are ahead in driver swing. What’s the correct position?
I don’t understand; my head has always been behind the ball; how can you say it’s in front?

Thanks Shawn for the good tip. I always wondered how to hit up and to hit inside out at the same time for the maximum driver distance. One question though. When use a closed stance, do you only pull back a trailing leg or aim the whole body to the right? It appears your stance (diagonal stance?) aims whole body to the right. I wonder if then, don’t we just push the ball to the right?
Depends on the ball position! Please see the “diagonal stance series”
Shawn. In ‘ Unstoppable momentum, open closed face’ you describe the neutral grip, closing the clubface and then the grip at address looks as if it is strong, as with Savy’s driver grip. Is this the same process for the driver, neutral grip, closing face and then working out how closed it needs to be?
