Hi Shawn, new to the game this year and was able to break 100 with your videos. Great stuff, irons look great even the hybrid but when it comes to the 3 wood and especially the driver I have a huge slice. I use the strong grip and have tried the diagonal stance but always seem to come through too fast and open. Iv been doing the perpetual motion drill to slow my tempo and when I apply that to my drive it seems to have no power and doesn’t get distance. Any tips or drills I can work on? Thank you
Use a 7 iron and go to the “draw fine tuning” video; get that ball to snap hook like crazy and feel that compression when it happens; then come back to the driver and do the same!
Hello,
if I have a closed driver’s face in setup, do I still have to close the hit with my wrists?
Sorry for mistakes. I’m typing from a translator

Why do I keep slicing my hybrid driver
Hi Stephen! Most golfers don’t close the face nearly as much as they should with the driver; see the first few videos in the “consistency series” at the bottom of the “list of videos by date”
Hi Shawn,
I’m new to your teaching my struggles are with Driver distance. Where should I begin with your program?
Hey Steve! You bet! Go straight to the “senior series” which could easily be called the “power speed series” as these are the fundamentals in your anatomy that lay the ground work to more natural and effortless speed! 👍. Then go see “pumping up the volume” and the “throwing series” and then see “arc-blur unstoppable momentum series” Enjoy!
Funny thing…. before I started with WIG, my driver swing was always fade or slice. Since I have be been with WIG, my driver has improved to a nice high draw or dead straight shot, with good distance. This is a welcome improvement. Loving the changes. However, there are a couple holes on the course I play on… that if don’t either fade it or play it short off the tee…you’re in a hazard out of play. Trying to do a fade on these holes over the weekend…. I hit both driver shots dead straight into the hazard. :-(. I even kept the face flush at address. Not sure what further adjustments I should make. Thoughts? I am resisting going back to the old sins to fix this, and considering playing a hybrids off the tee and keep it short.
Did you practice these driver fades on the range first?
See “fade fine tuning” video or hit the hybrid too, if the second shot is not that long on that hole; if it is, then get to work on the range with the driver fade! 💪😀👍
