I get what you’re saying with gripping the club with the face shut, then getting behind the ball to orient it. How do we find a good baseline angle, and does the angle vary across clubs? For example, it seems to me that I may want driver more shut, and short irons less.

Shawn, newbie golfer here, abou 6 weeks in. Your lessons have already helped me tremendously after only a week.

Question about the arc blur – I recall in some other video you mention that for some of us beginners, our perpetual motion swing won’t look like an arc but maybe an ‘x’ shape, that’s kind of where I’m at now. Where would you point me to get me on the right track to feeling how to heave the arm/club unit into that nice arc shape?
