Just watched grip videos 1 and 2. Your examples and explanations are clear and concise. I have a lot of time here at home now and I’m gonna work on all of my fundamentals so when I return to the course, there will be no boogeyman or should I say Bogeyman sneaking into my golf game:p

How do you choose the right size grip? Is this just personal preference?

Thanks Shawn. Have you already got a video on YouTube on this? I couldn’t find one. In the process of regripping at the moment so any more info would be helpful 😁

Perfect. Thank you.

Hi Shawn, I’m a righty golfer and I try to mirror your grip to a T but struggle with the right thumb placement. I knife the grip like you but at the top I feel tremendous strain. It might be because I cup my left wrist and the weight of the club moves to a position in between my thumb and index finger. When doing perpetual motion drill my thumb tends to slide on top of grip. Any advice?

Thanks,
Tom

Yes both snuff boxes are hinging together. I want to clarify the strain is only on my right thumb at the top of my swing. I know you said at the top the club should be resting on your index finger but when I hinge to the top the club seems to gravitate towards my right thumb Because of my left wrist cupping.
