Shawn, loving all your videos, they really get me to “feel” my swing which is what I have always needed to do to play better golf. The technical stuff just gets me all messed up. I follow almost everything in this video series, but what is the “feel” you are going for when you say “levitate”? I can feel the left pec starting the heave, and then I feel the hinge, but what do you mean by feeling it levitate?

Hey Shawn – I am doing my assigned homework (and loving it) and watching these videos. What are the three dots and how do I get some? I know that you are aiming off of them, but I always line up stones or whatever is lying around – the black dots would be way better. My home mat has nothing. and I rotate it for wear so I would want to put the dots on all 4 corners 🙂 Thanks, Andy

Where can I find a video of you explaining the dandelion cutting?

Shawn – I struggle keeping my weight inside my right foot during the backswing. Feet together drill helps with the feel, but I inevitably roll the back ankle when my feet are apart. I’m a tall golfer, and some folks tell me my stance is too narrow. The wider I stand, the less hip rotation I feel.

Thank you! This drill forces me to use my lower body to move the upper body (something I’ve heard before, but never fully understood). My back foot was firmly planted in the ground, and doesn’t sway at all.

Hi Shawn,

Thank you for the great backswing series.
I’m so used to not letting my lower body turn. that it is really hard to me freely and completely to turn.
What also interests me is that you say that the transition happens from behind you.
what do you mean exactly? Could you maybe make a video about it?

Thank you
Philipp

Thanks Shawn.
I watched the oldie. Great one.
So from behind you means the transition happens in the backswing, right?
