So keep width of feet address while walking and tilt with the driver?
I am a little out of sorts with the comment Vince; can you broaden the question?
Apologies if this is covered in the video. When I set up with my driver, my feet are shoulder width apart, and I am braced against my left leg with a slight tilt in my spine angle (please tell me I am doing that right!). Do I maintain that as a walk with the driver?
Ok; now I understand! What you do when walking with driver is feel that you would be clipping the tee on the way up on every step through. Do not think about tilt; think about the task itself! See the 7th to 9th video in the « Off season training series » as examples.
I seem to be doing this exercise well. However, when I begin to add umph to the “throw of my club”, the low point of my swing become inconsistent. How do I connect this exercise with the three top tasks (+ slashing the bamboo) and the extra pump in my swing effort?
Have a look at the “off season training series and videos 7-8- or 9 have the walking and throwing drill; then all you need to do is have a very specific Direction to the throw Using the “blur of club” video and then see “blur of club unstoppable momentum” and “immovable low point” right after that! Shawn
Thanks for pointing me to this drill. This demo shows various clubs and names the many benefits of this technique. Helps me understand even a partial swing requires a weight shift. Thanks again to you and Savy for this week’s video.

You bet! The kinetic chain series is awesome for that too. ;
Is this the feeling/sensation we will be looking for to swing and cut the stem in the direction we want to start the ball ? Stationary walk?
Yes! You bet! You get good at this one; and you get good at the golf swing!
I know the sternal notch is the centre of our swing are we looking to keep that in between our feet or just our centre of gravity during at golf shot ?
One goes with the other! The key is to bring them around to the task!
This drill helps overcome a lot of swing issues and I think it helps getting the backswing on the right plane? Can you explain why or how that is? thanks
If gravity can cut the grass IN BOTH DIRECTIONS, you can’t be off plane!!
Getting on plane os very, very easy!
