Great suggestions!

When my swing goes bad I can feel it happening. I get to the top of my backswing and I feel my body keep taking it back further. I know at this point my body thinks the ball did something bad and is going to kill it. This always gives me a pull left. I will try the breathing exercise next time. When you went back and stopped at the top of you backswing and then hit the ball that looks like that may also be something to try when I get in that situation.

Do we need to pronate the left wrist more during the swing in order to “scrape the ground more in front of the ball” for those of us that have been ‘Pickers” or will this naturally happen?

This video was great for someone who forever, picks the ball. I have rarely taken a divot and now knowing where the bottom of my swing is, getting more in front of the ball in the stance with the tilt and trying to scrape the ground after the ball, I am no longer picking but compressing. Huge difference.

This happened to me in a tournament about 3 weeks ago. At the 13th, I was putting for eagle and the caddy pulls me aside and says, birdie here will bring us to 4 over – so in my mind, i already finished with a 76 on the card. Ended up three putting the 13th – which infuriated me – double bogeys on the 14, 15, 16 and 17. Par on the 18th.

This is something to keep in mind – next time I’m in that situation again.
