This video changed my life

I have a question Shawn. Can you explain how much side tilt is normal in a driver swing? I see some with extreme tilt and others with hardly any. I am 6 ft. tall for reference.

Some do it from address and some do it during the swing; what matters is that you are anle to send the tee tip in the direction you want to start the ball on the slight upswing (5 degrees is optimal) see the “list of videos by date” and scroll to the bottom and check out the “driver” videos

Coincidentally, i was focusing on letting my a/c unit pull me up onto my right toe (finish position), during my round today. I have found that it manages (down) my effort level. I still had some of that subconscious programming to push off of my right foot, during the downswing. Looking forward to what this new awareness produces – nothing higher than a 6, today, and finished the round on 1 ball!

Super deluxe! A solid step in the right direction! 😀👍

This is such a hard shot for me to do consistently. That’s really a big weak point in my game, I’m really bad at punch shots (often shank them or fat them). So many shots spent under the trees or in windy conditions….

What is important to understand is that you DON’T want to hit down on the ball; you want to allow the sole of the club to stay low along the ground in the direction you want the ball to start on. When you hit down on the ball, you make the ball the target and then you get the inconsistencies…
