Nailed it !

Balance is a big one for me… especially with the driver. As you grip the ground with the inside of your feet, are you using the ground to start the takeaway and make the body turn into the backswing?

Thanks, Shawn.that was very helpful for getting the takeaway on target.

Hi Shawn
This is really helping me. I’ve improved by balance at the top of the swing a lot, but I find that I can have a tendency to be a little bit too much outside my left foot on the follow through. What’s the best way to tackle this? I don’t want to focus on body parts during the swing. Any suggestions?

Philip Graves

Thank you – that makes complete sense.

Ryan Lockhart

Just recently had a breakthrough with actually completing my backswing and what that actually feels like. Basically if I get that full turn and complete backswing mile marker I pretty much kill the ball with good direction with all clubs. The problem is when I need a half or 3/4 club/swing and I don’t get that full turn sensation or marker in my mind. End up trying to manufacturing some how and taking big fatty divots, because I’m reverse tilting I feel. How can I complete my backswing on non-full swings?

Would love your thoughts, please comment.x
