I wonder if the guy in the red hat can feel his arms collapse every swing.
Work in progress!
👍😀
The method/tip for keeping the head behind is a good one. I have seen your video using 2 line on a 2 by 4
Hi Shawn, I would like further clarification on this with respect to the video clips sent to you.
It just looks like your arm-club unit is too free; when the kinetic chain engages with the plant of the lead foot, the top of the arms re-connect to the top of the rib cage and the chain becomes taut; can you see this in my swing and in the link I sent you with Chad Campbell? This will give you a sense that you can compress the ball with the whole body; we will definitely do a video for this; stay tuned!
It is a great video for keeping your self behind the shot.
Will see the videos once again. Thank you and will wait for your video on this reconnection part.
Hi Shawn,
When you ask your student to hit a shot with full range of motion with little strain 130 instead of 185, does it not lead to reduced velocity as that is the only way to reduce distance. If I reduce strain my velocity towards the target also reduces.
In the feet together drill the turn is more compared to when we use a grass whip specially doing an elephant walk. Can you please connect these for me.
Thank you
Hi Mohanjit! This does not apply to you as we want more velocity in your case; you will need to get this with a DEEPER LOAD of the arm club unit; see my video (oldie but goodie) called “loaded arms shawn clement” on youtube and watch a PGA tour vereran professional by the name of Chad Campbell and how he loads his arm-club unit; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QN0D8b-moaM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBZiPeMG97Y You will see his grip is very weak and allows him to release hard through the ball; very deep ping pong back hand release with back of left hand; I would not try to emulate that part and keep a stronger grip for you!
