Without clarity it’s just luck to execute the shot correctly.
Thanks Shawn.

Once again Shawn a great video. Since I have used you as my coach, I have used the intermediate point when I practice and play. But for some reason never thought of using it for chipping. So thanks for that tip. Also for some reason not using low point for chipping. Again, thanks for the kick in the pants!!!! I heard you mention opening up the face when chipping. Did I hear that correctly? OK, my biggest problem with chipping may be solved with the intermediate and low-point tips. But, when I chip my ball doesn’t release. It tends to check up. And when I try to chip it close to the hole it goes way past the hole. Will an open face help it release? Or will the low point facilitate that? Or both? Or something else help me?

It’s just slightly open so that the leading edge does not dig; especially in bermuda grass; then it’s just a matter of choosing where YOU WANT THE BALL TO LAND and how much you want it to roll; nine iron chipping will roll much farther than a lob wedge chip.
