Yesterday I really felt my target side of my body in my swing (not a manipulation, just a ‘whole body working as one’, on task sensation. It was all going really well. I felt free to throw the club consistently.
I could also feel all my energy leaks. I was feeling my early extension for the first time, even though I was still making a complete throw and getting the ball to my targets.

I’ve been trying to be more patient with myself to grow my swing with your system, but I am still quite curious why my throws are still what could be called early release. With my new growth in understanding my swing, what might be my next focus? keep throwing or something more specific? With gratitude.

My left handed swing feels like a nice throw of the frisbee Happy Gilmore style; because I am right hand dominant. And you remember the walking drill with sending of divots? Still an amazing way to engage POWERFULLY with NOT A HINT OF EARLY EXTENSION! The series is “kinetic chain facilitation and engagement” Practice this till the cows come back to the farm! 😀👍

Hi Shawn. I reckon you ought to do a “detox” series because honestly most of your fantastic drills are the complete opposite of what many of us have been experiencing over decades and it really takes some time to “shed” those old habits. Eg – the most difficult moves to “allow” for me – allowing the head to bob up and down, allowing the hips to rotate fully whilst allowing heal to rise if necessary, not firing the right side, freeing the arms to swing “unconnected”, slowing transition. When I do these things with a target focus, I’m pasting the ball, but there was so much resistance and old habits to overcome first.
