I’m new to Sean Clements. 90 years young. Scores run from 82 to 95, Normally hit 6 out of 9 gir. playing 9 holes. Driver distance is 130 to 190 yds. 9 iron 100 yds. Currently using Cobra one length irons. Good 3 wood from fairway is 165 yds.
Where do I start and what should my sequence be using the site.
Thanks for your assistance.

Morning. I am getting back into golf. I have had the strong grip for a bit but some how I’m back to flipping, hitting high short shots with no power. Looking forward to the lessons. If you have any advice on which video I should look at for the flipping/casting, it would be much appreciated.

Shawn, newbie to golf as well as your site. Your lessons have already noticeably sent me in a positive direction in short order. Thank you

I get what you’re saying with gripping the club with the face shut, then getting behind the ball to orient it. How do we find a good baseline angle, and does the angle vary across clubs? For example, it seems to me that I may want driver more shut, and short irons less.

Man! I could kick myself for the things I take for granted. I’ve spent a lot of time on my grip over the years and when I went through this video months ago, I completely over looked the trail hand grip described in this video. The benefit that detail has in closing the club face is amazing. As much as I dislike making grip changes, this was a game changer, literally. It’s going to take some time to get comfortable enough with this grip to grip the club without looking, but watching this before the round I played today was helpful to say the least. This is a facepalm moment for me. I am only making this comment for future watchers of this video. Pay close attention to the details. It pays off.

So what is the proper order? stand straight at address, grip the club at a 45 degree (closed) position, then adjust the stance so that the clubface is squared to the ball?
