I found this video while searching for practice routines. I’m just like Mu with the head sway in the backswing. I noticed it when looking at my swing analysis.
I’d really love for you to do a video on how to structure a practice session. I practice at an indoor facility on Full Swing launch monitors and I usually spend about 30 minutes on drills or swings and then play 9 or 18 holes of simulator golf depending on how much time I have. But I never have a plan on what I’m working on on a given day.
As an aside, how much should I be videoing my swing? I’ve noticed that I can make it look pretty on video but the reality is that I’m manipulating a lot
Great question! Check out the “flow state series” and learn how to practice the full “focus structure” which starts with:
1-flight plan
2-intermediate point to set you up into the flight plan
3-prediction that the big 4 fundamental building blocks of the set-up MATCH the flight plan and allow you to deliver your TASK into the DIRECTION you want to start the ball
4-Hold your focus by the hand and be the best witness to you staying with TASK into DIRECTION with the feel of the task-whippy, easy, powerful, majestic
5-Observe with NO JUDGEMENT-YOU CANNOT DO ANYTHING WRONG!!
Be really good with this.
If you are struggling with task, then work on that during your practice sessions and then play some holes with this focus sequence. You will see that this can be practiced anywhere without even swinging a club!
