Hi Shawn,
In one of your chipping videos you mentioned the lower body moving the left pec which moves the ACU back. Works really well to get the body moving back and through to throw the ACU to the target. Is the full swing the same process just with more momentum to allow the arms to levitate up to complete the swing? This gives me more a “connected” and in sync backswing. Or as in this video just use the lower body to get the upper body out of the way so the ACU can swing freely? Just a bit of a different feel, maybe both OK dependent on the individual golfer?
Hey Lyle! Yes, lower body mini heaving the ACU into the direction that matches the IP; then the ACU simply falls through the stem of the dandelion over the IP
hi. just joined so not sure if this is where i ask a question but here goes….ina few videos you were talking about closing the club face at address and then when you get in position the face becomes square…. is that what you do on shots where you are looking for more distance? thanks
Hi Peter! If the face is not closed enough, then you will leak out and give away a ton of distance; see the first couple videos in the โconsistency seriesโ for that as well as the โimportant grip updateโ video and the โgoldilocks seriesโ in the โgrip and club face relationship video.
I am a right-handed golfer and finally playing with a very strong grip like Sav. Am I correct in saying that the knuckle of my right index finger is facing the ground when the club strikes the ball at impact? [email protected]
Yes, and please see the โimportant grip updateโ video! ๐๐
