Sean putting the tape on the driver was really key for me. I have a black ping driver and it is really hard find the club head path. Tape on the head makes it much easier to see the swing path arc and the bottom of the swing. Seeing the path is key. Bombs away hit it high and letting it fly. One of your best videos yet.

Shawn Clement

Yeah man! Those guys at Taylor made did not know what they had with those white headed woods!

Arne Rieken

Hi Shawn. Why do you apply two tapes on your Driver? How do you adapt your distance to the ball while throwing the club (Football) ? Many greetings from Germany and thx for your videos.

Shawn Clement

It is so you can identify the BLUR OF CLUB (see the video) as well as see the “arc-blur unstoppable momentum” series

Looking for a bit direction, or video. Playing this morning…. the WIG approach has immensely improved my game. I have went from the 100s. To the 90s, to the 80s! Enjoying the game more than ever. Even my drives have improved. However, I noticed that drives go astray when I tend to rush to get to the ball. In my mind. I am thinking more distance…. but the results are not good. I have been doing the predict videos and the kinetic chain. Any specific videos you may suggest. Just trying to be more deliberate with my practice time. Thanks.

Shawn, maybe I was asleep in class and missed the definition, but what is meant by your term of “Flow State”?
Thanks

Dear Shawn, I’m watching your video’s with great interest and learned a lot the past year. Thanks for that, I really appreciate the stuff you present. You made it very clear that the task a golfer has to execute is a very important part of the swing. A part of that task is seeing the target in your mind. There lays my problem, I’m not able to “see” the target in my mind which makes executing the task of sending the ball to a target very difficult. Is this a known problem or am I an exception to the rule? I help possible?

Mark Cohn

I’ve recognized of late how important staying centered is to the whole deal….and how much I was Not staying centered. Something that has really helped me is to do the old Hogan/Nicklaus (and countless others’) trick of bending in the right knee a bit and really feeling the pressure on the inside of my right foot during the backswing. The other thing that’s helped is to stare down the ball with my left eye only (by turning my head a bit to the right) and really feel everything turn underneath until my left shoulder is under my chin. Doing this sets everything up so that I can then just focus on letting go and swinging fully out to the target.
