Great video guys just what I needed, I like the idea of not trying to fix a flight path straight away but trying to find a pattern first.
Would love if you had a page on the website with a list of all the different tasks one can try based off type of club, type of lie, trajectory, draw or fade, if you have a tendency to hit fat or thin shots, and other scenarios. If I hadnโt seen this video and the only task i knew of was sending grass clippings but i was hitting my fairway woods thin, i wouldnโt think or even know of the other task about smushing grass so i could better deflect the bottom of the fairway wood clubhead and get more flush contact.
Great feedback! Noted!!
A table that would continue to grow and evolve would be great since there are so many combinations of lies and situations.
Shawn around 12:10 you say as soon as you take the club back you can feel a confirmation that momentum is going to go the direction you want to send the grass clippings. What do you do if during the backswing you donโt feel like the momentum is going to go in the direction you want it to go? Do you stop the swing and reset?
Depends on how severe it is! Most times you will be able to make the adjustment; like Nicklaus hitting the pin with a 1 iron on his way to win the US Open at Pebble Beach! If you feel itโs too off base, and you are out of balance, stop it right there!
Love the smoosh!!! So awesome to see your work with students.
