Hi Shawn, how can I self diagnose? As good as Savy’s swing is, you had to tell her that she wasn’t completing the backswing. Same goes for how do I know if I’m steering and if I’m across the line or too laid off without video

Shawn Clement

Savy is still running into issues with side vision and is beginning to understand the ill effects of letting the mind trust what it sees from the side, this is especially true when you are trying to perform in a tournament. The ball creeps forward, the body alignment changes to where the shoulders get more open, and the backswing begins to shorten and you start getting a more “over the top look” to the swing.
1-seeing the blur is an essential reference (see arc-blur-unstoppable momentum series)
2-feeling that the backswing will allow you to deliver in the direction you want to start the ball (see matching backswing to target)

I really appreciated the commentary over the drone section. It helped me focus on things I might have missed and allowed me into your own thought processes and descriptions while viewing your own swing after the fact. Good stuff!!! Thanks.

Hey I can go across the line and still hit the dandelion like the best of them !!! 🙂
Nice insightful video…

Does the sequential order of the kenetic chain in the backswing really matter ?
Test day 1 new putting stroke. I’m liking it. 😉
Hmmm. seems to do wonders for my chip shots.
Can it work for pitch shots ? Never hit so many buttery 50 yard consecutive shots on target. Ever !
Could this new sequential order bleed throughout the bag and into my fullswing ?
Test day one hit balls and putted all day. Wow 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 Can’t stop smiling:)
Weight of the club hanging from the shoulder sockets. That weight with the hands and arms starts the takeaway.
Genius pure genius. I’m at a loss for words.
Thank you Shawn

Hello from Bergen Norway, Thank you for the 1st video on your website! I’m sorry but I did not get the point how to hit a fade/draw. Maybe it’s your language (not my mother tongue/ too much golf slang)? Obviously there are different techniques how to hit a draw and a fade, respectively. Maybe a more pedagogic and clear way is to show the position of your feet and the blade of the golfclub when explaining how to hit a fade. Best greetings Lars from Norway
