I am having trouble hitting my 4 iron flush. I try follow all the steps but still not successful
Thin? Fat? Toe or heel?
How is the quality of the whip?
How is the effort on a scale of 1-10? (10 being way too much effort?)
I hit it fat and on the toe
I using about a 7 in effort. Sometimes I hit it fat and sometimes on the toe.
Ok, now things are getting clearer.
First see “blur of club” video so you can really identify your arc and distance you should have to the ball with that club.
Second, the effort level should be a 3 of 10 to get a 7 of ten speed and velocity in the whip; in other words, it should feel very easy to whip the snot out of your clubs.
Finally, see the “throwing series” and the “football drill” series to get your proper feel of delivery and support with all your clubs.

I don’t know what I am doing wrong. Everything seems to be chug. It gets frustrating.
Time for a swing analysis or a skype session! Let’s see what the heck is going on!
I will send a video. I can FaceTime also.
Send a face on and a down the line of a 6 iron; tell me what the target is, the flight plan used, the intermediate point used and the last thing that went through your mind before you swung.
Great video but the platinum nugget is at 6:30 about the cap. (Worked better than the water in the ear idea.) I would love to see a side by side before and after the cap tip because to my naked eye, it looked like he stayed back a bit longer probably allowing him to keep focus on target line to stay with his shot or something???
Both my daughter and I tried this tonight and it straightened out both our drivers significantly. Hoping it works on other clubs as well. We both tend to pull the ball and this seemed to cure that at least for the driver. Thanks.
Right on! Yes, the brain has a “reset upright” feature so you don’t walk around like Quasi Modo. 😝
So having a “visual” monitoring system for the tilt to make your brain aware of what it feels like to stay with the task for many is important. Match this with “target confirmation series”
I use only my irons when i play. I have come to the realize that My brain malfunctions when I get a driver in my hand. After seeing this video I can visualize the arc is part of a full circle. if that makes any sense but i will give it a shot.
Yes! Exactly! See our “throwing series hammer throw driver” in the new driver section of the video list too!
Nice camera work 👌
Hmmm…. Any idea why I may be breaking tees? It doesn’t seem like you are even pulling the tees from the ground. Mine appear to end up in the next zip code. Shrug. Thoughts on what the issue may be?
We use those plastic unbreakable tees; and you can set up a tee station like in the “throwing the club series” with the Driver Hammer Throw but put the tee in front of the ball at the same height about 6 inches away. If you clip the tee past the ball, you are not hitting up on it and therefore are likely to break your tees.
