Hi Shawn, I’m in your boat with the fade. Either dead straight balls that start directly over the intermediate point or a slight draw. It’s frustrating trying to get the fade to work but it definitely tames the draw as a benefit!

Shawn Clement

No worries! It literally is just a couple degrees off; just a few more minutes of practice with Goldilocks…😝😀👍

What might the next step be if I’m getting some over draws going but attempts at fades are double crossing?

Or tasks/drills to help develop the feeling of moving out back the other direction?

Hi Shawn. a top view or GoPro view would be helpful for your next lesson. I liked the one where you had the alignment sticks (one vertical in the ground and one laying in front of it) but that one would have been helpful with a drone view. Is there a way you could post a diagram?

Take a look at the kinetic chain facilitation series #6; my favourite!

Hi Shawn, As always love all your videos. Just getting back into golf swing of things for this year. One question I have is, on my practice swings I don’t seem to be make ground contact or brush the turf with the sole of the club. Is this due to not engaging my release properly with my lead foot, if so are there any triggers from backswing to release. Keep up the awesome work with new task images! Thanks Chandra

Hi Chandra! See “feet together back to feet apart” and “pumping up the swing volume” videos; then see “kinetic chain facilitation series” (#6 is my favourite)

Chandra B

Awesome, thanks Shawn will do. Also, watched “PERPETUAL MOTION DRIVER PART 2- ANCHOR THAT STRETCHED RELEASE!” and speaking to me in theory and indoor swing, will see how it goes on the range.

Shawn, no way am I comparing myself to Mu…but when I watched Mu swing the 1st time on “KINETIC CHAIN FACILITATION #6 SENDING DIVOTS!” that is me….all I can hope is couple of yrs from now I will be Mu..just need 30yrds on my 9 Iron….

Shawn Clement

Haha, yes, I remember! Oh, man, don’t worry, you will get there!😀👍👌

Shawn,

Been following your process for awhile here and enjoy the videos. I have a monitor to collect data and measure the progress. I have two questions, is there a secret to the using the weight of the arms and clubs, I feel the swing momentum with a weighted clubs not so much with my regular ones. Also my launch angle and spin rate are high, greater than should be. I think this is contributing to loss of yards. Do you have any suggestions? I am using the blur and swing next to ball to find club path and swing low point. Thanks Chris

Hey mate, loving your advice all the way from down in Australia, thank you for your help! Any thoughts on avoiding lateral movement on the take away? I’m a 5 marker and don’t always manage to keep my eye on my ‘blade of grass’ back and through when I make a swing. All the best, Neil
