Hi Shawn — in the winter on those days we can’t make a simulator (if we have access) — are there some videos we can do when we want to practice but not with a club. For example i have been practicing snap release in my kitchen feeling the weight of my arms (to the annoyance of my wife :>) just to ingrain the feel and imagine shots. But if there are some videos on this as a guide would be great to know. thank you!

Just started on video #1. You mentioned something that really made sense. I short circuit my task when I feel something “off”, usually at the top of the backswing (i.e. “oh no, my wrists are too bent). When that happens, my brain turns to “oh, oh, I have the wrong body position”. This lesson allows me to stay on task all the way through. In order for task to trump, the mind has to experience the movement, so the brain can forget the movement. Hope this post makes sense!

On to part two, is it crazy that I am closing my club face 45 degrees in my three wood thru 5 iron? Less, 30 degree’s on 6 and up?

I now identify as a carpenter, the closed face gives me confidence to shift forward into the ball and drive it into the frame. Good stuff.

Not really offseason, offseason here in SC but working thru each module every week for some improvements over time.

Part 1, closed clubface. I tried today and noticed a distance gain. Hurray.

But knifing the grip feels like it’s now pointing in the wrong direction. If that makes sense.
