Hi Shawn, I was interested in your response to Michael’s observation that the ball position for the fade appears to be outside your left big toe. Is that the case, or does it just appear that way because of the camera angle? Also, what is the correct position for the fade and draw for the driver, assuming normal playing conditions.

Also, on the draw, you set up where you want the ball to end…..correct? After that do you get behind the ball and aim a little right of your endpoint?

Thanks

Lawrence Lybarger

My shot making has improved since I started concentrating on throwing the club to my target.
The way I express it is “the golf swing is a throwing motion”.

Michael Green

Hello Shawn, it looks like the ball is in front of your left toe for the fade On th driver is this correct or should the ball be inside your frame?
Ps: loving your work i’ve abandoned the RotarySwing in favour of your methods and I must say that it’s been a revelation. I’ve been practicing hard for 2 years and dont feel like the input is reflected by the output, however after adopting your principals in relation to cutting the grass rather than hitting at the ball and having a clear task with and start and end has instantly provided benefit. It freed my swing and massively increased club head speed. Do you provide online lessons if so after a few more weeks of practice i’ll send you some swings. Thanks Michael Green from Kent, England

Hi Shawn, great session on the driver. I am practicing the lessons you describe. I am having success hitting the ball on the up swing and seeing improvements. My challenge is hitting the club face in a consistent spot, toe, then heal, then centre, and so on. Any suggestions?
Thanks, Drew
