Hi Shawn, I have a big problem wit the windshield washer lead foot. Do you have any recommendations/drills for me to work on this?
Thanks,
Tim

Shawn Clement

You bet! Start with “the walking drill” and get really good at that and then perform the “perpetual motion drill series” which is the “standing walk” and allow the lead heel to come off the ground in the backswing.

I’m heading out in the next few minutes to our local golf course here on Gabriola Island BC and our course that has 6 out 9 holes that you have to hit your second shot from some kind of slope. And I have been struggling to be consistent from hitting the up hill and down hill shots. Now watching this video it’s most likely I’ve been trying to shift my weight forward when I should be more anchored. So I will see if I can that this task the the course
thanks
Rick

I have a,hopefully, quick and easy request that i think would help all of us out here in viewer land. if you could do a down range drone shot of the practice area from 50 to 100 yds above your normal teeing spot for vids, point out your commonly used markers and targets and give us a verbal description of distances to and between them, i believe it would allow me and hopefully others to better interpret and gauge what is happening during shots as well as amount of fade/draw movement we’re perceiving with your descriptions. just a thought.
Also, if there was a way to head mount the go-pro on either your left or right temple area(as close to actual eyeline as possible) perhaps off of the hat band as opposed to hat brim, it would make your set up and alignment and delivery that much easier to correctly interpret and understand.
Thanks for all you, Sav and Mu do!!

Thank you for the suggestions! Much appreciated! Our new Rapsodo has a satellite reading of the shots and we are looking at getting that info translated into the videos.

Shawn. After all this time ..when I cut the grass/dandilion stem let momentum carry the ACU with all clubs including the putter good things happen..BUT..when my eyes see the ball and fix on it as the target..not reliable..look out. I remember all your lessons and have to , in execution, train my brain that the target is out there…NOT down there. As always so enjoy the video lessons. J.

What irons is Savy have ? They almost look like the old pings. Does the lighter graphite shafts allow her to feel the weight of the club head better ?
On a scale of 1 to 10 what is the right hand grip pressure at address and into the takeaway ? Small hands like me betcha its at least an 8. Say good bye to those snap hooks with the driver. Yep my putting is off the planet good. Thank you very much. Have yinz ever tried putting off of one foot. If the hips are square to the line and the weight stays over that one foot you may be surprised. Works well on either foot as long as the hips are square to the line at address. When I go back to two feet distance control is very precise and repeatable. My ball striking is off the planet great also. Thank you very much. When standing on the tee looking down at my s5 I must learn to always play to the front . Why you might ask ? Welp this guy has me flushing every shot. I’m talking mash potato compression every time. Cold and rainy here so it’s a good day to have a few cold ones and work on my putting. I can’t say it enough.
Thank you Shawn , Sav and Mu
