I have tried to play this video 4 times on my IPad Air. No luck yet. It freezes very early, last 2 times
At 2:38 and 3:47. Thanks

Using this technique I find it helpful if I pick an intermediate point 6 inches in front of the ball and concentrate on swinging the club head over that, this distracts my mind from thinking about impact between club head and ball. Is that approach sound? Thanks

Hi Julian, I was doing this as well, but I think this is not as good as focusing on the place you want the ball to land (the target – the goal). If I’m correct, using the spot 6 inches in front of the ball should only be used to align yourself. After that, you should only be target focused or else you bring in unnecessary thoughts. If you were to toss me a ball, would you focus on a spot on the ground to accomplish that? You would only focus on my hand (target) and you already know how to do that.

Wow my chipping was really poor as I’m a high HCper but this seems to work well ( on the carpet ) looking forward to watching the other videos on chipping . When I open the club my ball seems to go right so I’ll stay neutral till I watch some more vids 😁

We your feet apart, you seem to be setting up with your feet ca. 15-20° open to the target line. Correct? I assume this is to help clear the body out of the way.
At set up you have your wedge open to the target (I think you said 10°). What is your intermediate point? For a ‘draw’, I assume that it would be more right of target than the face. Correct?
What about chipping with stronger clubs, say a 7 iron. Still set up with the face open?
Thanks.

Have you done the on the course videos you mention here re course strategy and landing zones?

When using this technique I can often mess it up and get either a thin strike or a shank. Assume the shank is cos I’m too close, and the thin is my weight going on to back foot (or wrists breaking down)?

One last thing, I often seem to miss left of my target. Any ideas??
