This video is brilliant and helped tie things together for me. Can’t wait to give it a go. Thanks Shawn!

Shawn— I have been struggling on the back 9 of an all-par 3 course. But, I love what you teach because when I execute, its wonderous. I don’t ask you alot of questions but I have Three key questions—

1. Does the tucked right elbow feel at address “stay there” and the torso transports the arm and club untit to the top? If so, I tend to lose the arms hanging from the shoulder socket feel which is so important.

2. Please direct me to a video where you really go into detail about WHEN to bend the right arm and hinge the wrists in the backswing. This is my most difficult part under pressure in a round! I need help when and how to do this things.

3. Coming down, from the ground up, does the tucked right arm get transported by the torso again so you get through the cut? If so, it does NOT feel wide. So, what is feel of the arm-club unit with the tucked right elbow….what keeps the structure? Do you just “leave it there at the top and start down, doing nothing wiith arms?” Or is there an independent feel of the arms-club where its Not being transported or slung by the torso.

On the down swing, my culprit is want to manipuate or control the club with my left arm, which produces bad results and destorys the second pendum from happening.

Thx, Paul

I have a question about the club face it seems like your clubface is more toe up coming down compared to a lot of golf swings were the face is more on the spine angle. And your handle works pass the ball and then squares of the last moment. I also noticed in the video that I sent you that my hands are lined up straight at impact with my front arm compared to yours and Cameron champ where the handle is much more forward at impact. What are your thoughts on that.

Shawn, my friend, I am back and getting ready for my winter work. I had some video of my swings and I have the exact same problem…flying right elbow, throws club across the line and open. I played some really good golf this past year, but was letting my right arm break down and using my arms and shoulders to generate power.

I am making the switch to single length irons and refocusing on the effortless whip to the target…this video reminded me of our session in Chicago and can’t wait to get on a simulator to re-remember this move. Great video. Russ
