shawn , I ve got my driver down to fade now instead the slice of pizza!!! thx .
but wondering about my finish which is about chest hi. do u think I am hitting at the ball ; releasing to soon??
. thx mark
Good stuff! Ask yourself if you have enough momentum to carry the swing all the way to a nice high finish? Or are you adding a lot of hit in the swing?
I’ve been working on this quite a bit between the range and my rounds. I’ve been fairly successful in both draws and fades with my irons. I still have some work to do in terms of how much draw or fade occurs, but nothing that hurts when I just aim for my target. For my driver and FW woods, I have had more success with fades. Most of the time when I attempt a draw I end up with a snap hook. I do have some more Goldilocks drills to work on with them, but feel like it’s coming along. Hopefully, I can keep this pace for my club championship next weekend. 😬
hey Brad! Stick to Fades with woods and draws with wedges and short irons and both for mid to long irons. Keep up the great work!
Tried this out a little bit and had a few different results, but all leading to the ball hooking/drawing. Some were pull hooks and some started dead straight and started to draw. Had a couple events with the driver (as you stated in this video) that I had a super strong grip/closed face and the ball went dead straight. Question 1- At set up with a strong grip/closed face should I line up the closed face to my IP? Question 2- Should my IP be aimed 5-10 degrees to the right of my target?
