Homework done Shawn. Watched Anti-Manipulation and this one here. Looking forward to tonight’s practice session. Question about grip pressure….I know that this matters.

What would you say your grip pressure is out of 10? Does your grip pressure change depending on the shot or does it remain quite consistent?

I’ll let you know how it goes tonight. Thanks man.

Great video. Thanks much.

Sean, I have read Dr. Wulf’s book and taken lessons from you in Dallas and it has helped me immensely. I went to my local golftec to observe my progress on video(while placing a target on the net) and see that I get lazy w/ the turn of my hips both in the backswing and especially in my forward swing which leads to loss of posture and hand manipulation. I know from my time w/ you, studying your videos and her book I am not supposed to think about my hips, but, when I see it on video despite my best efforts to focus externally it is frustrating. I would appreciate your thoughts

Great explanation Shawn. How should we balance throwing versus not focusing on body parts? It seems that the intention to throw will draw our attention to moving body parts. I know that I a missing something from your explanation. Could you please elaborate?

cheers,

Gordon

Hi Shawn,

I’m newly retired and now have the time to immerse myself into your teaching wisdom. I have always been a student of the game. As you have suggested, I have purchased “Attention and Motor Skill Learning” and “The Anatomy of Greatness.” Can you point me to your videos that outline how you evolve from “technique/position” learning to automatic/target learning. We all need some technique work. But how do we go back and forth through different modes of motor skill learning? By the way, swinging anatomically, has enormously reduced pains in my shoulders and hips!! Thank you for that!

Please advise….Thanks in advance!

Dan
