I have had a real bad time of topping my fareway clubs. I think it the rush to get back to the ball. I top it and it goes hard left. I know i must be too far ahead of the ball. Any tricks to slow down the downswing and keep my body from moving forward too soon. Frustrating these used to be my best clubs.
Have you seen the latest arc-blur series? Start with “blur of club” then “unstoppable momentum Arc-blur kinetic chain” and stay off the STRAIN!! If you are standing there in the middle of the fairway on a long par 5 and are saying “I gotta get down there as far as possible”, you are setting up for disaster! Stay with a yardage you can get to with ease and deliver a nice flow of “unstoppable momentum with 3 out of 10 effort.
Yes its too much strain and causes the throw from the top. It was a scramble so you tend to go for everything.
Thank you Shawn.
I’ve been with you for almost a year. I love golf and came across you on YouTube. Your wisdom in golf has changed my whole approach to the game. I’ve seen huge leaps in my score, but the “feel” and instinct I have on the course now is my proudest achievement. Thank you for sharing this side of golf.
A symphony to my ears Ray! So happy you are able to use the tools that came with you in the first place! 💪👍👌😀
