Hi Shawn Could you clarify which indoor tees should be matched with different clubs. Size specifically. Thx

Hi Shawn, am new to the site and so far hitting it significantly better!
With chipping do you still use the closed face/neutral grip method?
ie. neutral face/strong grip? thanks Rob

No, very important! You can use the strong grip with slightly open face or neutral with slightly open face. See the main “chipping” video which is very detailed and then the other videos pertaining to chipping; especially the “kinetic chain series” chipping video.

Sean,
Would spinning the tees be an adequate task to focus on for all of your shots? Get set up to the picture and shot that you want to hit and then focus on spinning tees to either side of the intermediate point that you want the ball to go?

My chipping and pitching has been horrendous. I can never hit the center of the club face and my club path is extremely left (like -10°!!) no matter what I do. I occasionally shank so badly that the ball hits the shaft! My short game used to be my biggest strength, now I’m terrified to miss a green. I can’t figure out what changed.

I’m going to try this, I have those kind of tees. How do you engage the kinetic chain on these shots? Are you still using your legs? Maybe that’s what I’m doing wrong.

You bet this is full kinetic chain! We are using the weight of the arms and club to simply cut through the stem of dandelion IN THE DIRECTION OF THE INTERMEDIATE POINT!! Blur of club here rules!!!! See “blur of club” and then see “kinetic chain series” with chipping and pitching having their own episodes within the series. Do the chip swing with a kettle bell too for completely free on interference swinging.

Nice chipping review Shawn. On a Sim yesterday and must admit got a bit lost re task and arm-club unit connection. Back on track now. Thanks.
