Hi Shawn I had a breakthrough today at the golf range. For some reason I played with hand position at setup and I found that when I go for a draw and have my hands closer to centre but still in front at setup I draw the ball easier and more, with all clubs. And I was striking them so clean. Is there a video about this? Now when I fade I set up with the hands further in front like I normally did as that’s how they sit with your setup when your heads behind the ball. Is this right do you think? What are your thoughts?
Good stuff Lenny!
look at it PREDICTION WISE; You are set up, you are about to let momentum deliver your task into the direction you want to start the ball; you want to feel that when you let this happen, that the ball will start on the line you want it to and curve in the air the way you want it to as well; if the set up you have allows you to do this, you are good! ๐๐
Hi Shawn … very nice ! I noticed your club was “toe down” at the top. I thought we want it to be facing the sky like Sav ? I’m still trying to sort out the many combos of grip and club face at address. I cannot decide with my best way and stay with it, seems I’m always experimenting LoL !
Hey Allen! When you see my wide flying elbow on the right, it changes the โlookโ of the club face; but then when you see my kinetic chain kick in, you will notice that the elbow then leads and resets the club face more closed. This is why you want to experiment for what works for you and understand it is also fluid and will change over time as you continue to deliver your action into your flight plans. See the grip-clubface video on the โgoldie locks seriesโ and use the โfade fine tuningโ or โdraw fine tuningโ for more polish. Enjoy the experiment! One of the most fun aspects of learning!!๐๐
