Question about the Intermediate point:- When you say left edge or right edge of the intermediate point, are you thinking of club path or ball path should go over the IP?
See “alignment reload” and “blur of club” and then see “Arc blur unstoppable momentum series”. Path of club in it’s a\natural arc would be the answer.
Shawn, generally speaking I am pretty good with my lob wedge (60 degrees). Last few times out, however, I have hit several fat. They were right in the middle of the fairway, with no water, and open green staring me in face. What might I be doing wrong?
What was your focus just before you swing the club?
Don’t hit it fat again 🙂
Classic!; replace that with: when I throw the club through the arc in that direction (IP), does it feel like the stem will get cut? If yes, your mandate is to follow through on your task come “heck or high water”!!
Thank you for the mental refresh. That will be my focus next time out!
Hi Shawn
I’m just a little confused! I watched your video in Wisdom in Golf 1.0 where you talk about club face being open or closed to the arc Vs the target line. In other videos when you refer to open or close the club face a little, generally do you mean in relation to the arc or the target line?
Thanks and I am enjoying your videos immensely.
Marian
Always in the arc but also in a dynamic-through the ball sense!
You understand that the action to target opens the face dynamically right?
No not exactly. could you give me a brief explanation or point me to a particular video to watch? Thanks very much.
See my oldie but goodie on youtube called “weak grip vs strong grip shawn clement”
I love your video instructions but this one stops halfway thru. I tried a couple times but it stops at 2.52 each time.
Money well spent for the information can’t wait to start golf this spring.
Just coincidence; try again later on or tomorrow; your internet is just running slow right now…

Hi Shawn ,new member, have been enjoying the videos, you make it look so effortless,it would be helpful if you could mention the distance on these shots.if you did somewhere along the video,I apologize.thanks jim
You are looking at a 50 to 60 yard shot on this shot Jim! Use goldie locks to dial in the distances; and yes, you were correct; I did not mention the distance I was on; Shawn
