Hi Shawn longtime follower on youtube, recent member of your premium channel. I had this issue last summer as well. It seems that I get to certain point when I play a lot of rounds. Slowly shanks start to sneak in. My Last round a few days I could get some solid hits but everything was going shooting off to right with the Irons and wedges. Woods and Driver were ok overall. Can you direct me to which videos to focus on. I rewatched videos on posture and grip to see if something was off. Thanks again.
Hi Ray! Yes, see the โfootball drill seriesโ and the โspinning seriesโ which have been instrumental for getting through the ball with the space needed to not shank! Then see โthe goldilocks seriesโ distance to ball video
Thanks.
Also, when on the tee box, would you pick a spot that is level, or pick a spot with an intermediate point – what would be your priority? ****Super commenter
Uh BOTH!! But intermediate point always wins as we are the kings and queens of uneven lies in the game of golf!
Thanks- so you stand back and pick a shot shape, target and intermediate point and then take stance. Vs other way around.
You have your 2 club lengths and stance should be no issues once you have the above figured out๐๐
HI Shawn! I’ve been having some good success with dead arms. One thing that has come up is I’m starting to push shots. And usually I’m super happy with the swing. Thoughts?
You can always trace things back to the original focus before you took the swing; did you have clarity on task and use of momentum to deliver the task through and out into the picture?
What a beautiful practice area and teaching area.
