Hi Shawn!

We just got crushed by snow in Minnesota and I have limited access to a hitting bay/simulator. What might be some good videos or drills to look at to do in my living room? Thanks!

Awesome! Thanks, Shawn!

Hey Shawn,

It looks like you pump your legs when swinging, is this intentional? For power?

I try to emulate this a bit and I end up digging. Am I just overdoing the pump?

I know, hard to say without seeing my caveman swing. Hah hah

Shawn Clement

Hey Aaron! Great observation and yes I am pumping but NO, I AM NOT THINKING ABOUT IT. We are built to do this in every sport that requires it like skating, skiing, walking, running, golfing, standing on a swing or check out “Kiiking” on youtube.
Great videos in here where we talk about it and or do it naturally:
-turbo charge lead hand release and the turbo charge trail hand release
-pumping up the swing
-pumping up the volume
-kinetic chain facilitation series”
-kettle bell into door frame
-unstoppable momentum series

so never think about the legs; and never try to keep them still; you simply stay with the task of using momentum to deliver your task in the direction you want to start the ball with ease and velocity.

Having a hard time with my timing right now. Way to quick . What to do?

I noticed how much I was not finishing my swing when I did this drill. I did the drill for a few weeks and with some success.. When I play, I cant’t shake the thought of finishing my swing and getting rid of the alligator arms just after impact. Even when I do stay with the target and hit decent shot, afterwards I notice the ‘short arm’ and lack of follow thorough. How do you fix a swing without focusing on it…
